EQUUSOMA® Level 2

2024 Certificate Program

Registration Now Closed!

The EQUUSOMA® Level 2 training program allows eligible students who have completed the Level 1 training components to deepen their integration of the learning through pre-recorded Theory Modules and live, in-person Practice Modules with equines at various locations around the world.

Each cohort offers a different immersive experience with the material and the group field that reflects the humans, equines, venue, land, other creatures, and ancestral and energetic influences at each location. While there is core curriculum taught to all Level 2 students, how the material is presented and how each Practice Module unfolds is unique.

We are thrilled to meet with you in person and continue to deepen the exploration of interspecies trauma recovery through experiential learning, relational renegotiation, and somatic repatterning.

Level 2 Locations in 2024

After watching the required video recordings of core theory, come join us as we explore nuances related to trauma recovery for equines and humans. Registration is still open for the following cohorts:

  • Canada: April 1-5 and July 6-10, 2024
  • Europe: May 6-10 and September 9-13, 2024
  • USA: June 24-28 and September 16-20, 2024

Spots are limited and on a first come, first served basis, and payment is required to reserve your spot. There may be a delay between when a student progresses from Level 1 to Level 2 based on the number of Level 2 applicants in a given year. See the Policies Handbook for more details (Letter and A4).

New eLearning Portal

Students who are eligible for Level 2 in 2024 embarked on the EQUUSOMA® program prior to the creation of our eLearning portal.

The portal came about as a result of feedback related to ways we can improve the student experience, making some aspects of it more automated, simple, and streamlined. Now, all of your resources, handouts, links, and key documents are in one spot.

  • Clearer roadmap through the program, with a vertical menu that shows where you are in your progress through each Level’s requirements
  • No more PDF log sheets – approved providers can complete the form electronically!
  • Watch pre-recorded Theory Modules at times that work for you – and the portal saves where you left off so you can resume watching effortlessly.

Our Gift to You:

Students who have completed all the required Level 1 training components (the modules themselves) and complete their registration for Level 2 in 2024 will get access to the latest version of the recordings of these Level 1 modules (from 2023) free of charge!

***Students who began the program before the new eLearning portal was launched began the program under a different pricing structure. The total amount of the program (Level 1 + Level 2) remains the same, but the amount paid per level has been equalized. Previously, the new pricing model was listed here in error, since the first time that pricing will apply to Level 2 will be 2025. We have corrected this section to reflect the pricing model that applies to all students who are doing Level 2 in 2024 and apologize for the confusion.

What’s Beyond Level 2?

Become an EQUUSOMA® Practitioner!
Beyond the training components of Level 1 and Level 2, students may opt to join our Certificate Track. This involves completing a certain number of personal sessions of Somatic Experiencing®, EQUUSOMA® case consultations, assignment consultations, and a final review, along with a few final submissions, in order to apply for the EQUUSOMA® Practitioner (ESP) designation.

ROADMAP – Letter ROADMAP – A4

Join our Assistant and Approved Provider Track!
Continue your professional development by applying to be an EQUUSOMA® training assistant. Assisting is a way to receive mentoring, hone your skills, and give back – and is the first step in becoming an approved provider of personal sessions and consultations to other students in the EQUUSOMA® program.

*More details coming soon about our revised assistant and approved provider program. Follow our website and social media accounts for more details.
